The pupils at Hampden Street School do a special random act and we were there.

Grant hid in a fake cash machine and handed out $5 notes to people who stopped.

We dressed someone up as a homeless person and rewarded the first person to stop and help them.

We dressed up as animals and sold blueberry muffins to raise money for the SPCA
Giving away free money
The act started with a bang, The Nelson Mail were down doing an article and local TV station Mainland TV were there also filming and interviewing. The concept behind this one was was to have a pretend cash machine and give out free money from it. At the start people didn't want to be involve or were too scared to come up. As soon as one person did the rest all followed and within about 5 minutes all the money was gone! Mental note next time I do this have more money! Thanks everyone for all the great comments and positive feedback, it's amazing to see that what we are doing at the 30 Days camp is making a difference.
