Grant A Wish
The Grant-A-Wish with MoreFm was amazing. What we are doing is getting people from the community to nominate the unsung heroes who do lots of good deeds but don't get rewarded or people who just need something nice done for them. Angela nominated her Mum Kaye who works so hard looking after her husband with Multiple Sclerosis, works part time, helps Angela in her business and always has a smile on her face. Angela wanted to reward her Mum with a nice pamper package as she never takes time out for herself. We organised an awesome prize with MoreFm for Kaye, two nights accommodation at the gorgeous Golden Bay Hideaway including a food hamper each day and breakfast. An Ultimate indulgence Package courtesy of Women Beauty Day Spa and thanks to Harvey World Travel Mid City flights for two to Wellington! We called Angela and she was so happy she cried! We then picked her up and went down to surprise Kaye. Kaye was so happy and we really made her day, and that's what Grant-A-Wish is all about.
We have three weeks to go so if there is someone you want to surprise then get to www.morefm.co.nz and nominate someone you know.
Listen to MoreFM interview Grant on our In The News page.
Kaye is my Aunty and just reading this has made me cry! You couldn't have picked a better person to do this for. She is a completely selfless person and DOES really always have a smile on her face.
